Is home schooling the way to go?
I reli want to be home schooled i hate it at my school and i feel depressed most of the day. I wanted to know if you were home schooled, would I get as good as an education as I would in school or would I lag behind. How will i know what to learn and stuff and if one day i decided to go back to my school again, would it be awkward. Has that happened to anyone, where they have left school then gone back but no one treated them the same???????????????????
If you feel that you want to be homeschooled, by all means, do so!
You will probably learn more, and learn faster then you would in a regular school, and this way, you can learn what interests you.
And to the person a couple above me, colleges LOVE homeschooled children. It show’s that they don’t have to be “spoon fed” information like traditionally schooled children. It shows they can find out information independently, and fast.
Also, just make sure to stay in touch with your friends, and it won’t be ackward when you go back.
And to those that say you’ll lose social interaction, you don’t go to school to talk, you go to learn. and saying that if you stop going then you’ll stop having friends is just showing how little some people think of their education. I’m only fourteen, and I know this already.
But if you want to be homeschooled, check the laws in your area and see what homeschooling options are available for you in your area. Such as virtual school, or “umbrella schools”, etc. I’m going to do virtual school and flvs.net, and it’s counted as a public school & i go by the curriculum for my county, but it’s online.
