The best place to live in Houston?

We are a family of six, four children go to school were trying to move to a nice quiet part of town, since Katrina refugees arrived here the crime rate has increased and that it tried to flee. our house has been divided into 2 times, someone broke the window of our car while they were inside a store (about 5 minutes), a friend came to visit and someone stole the car radio, I was walking home from school and hit me in the head and someone took my ipod, someone took our cock baby (if your cock baby!) was a gift from my now dead grandmother. the area where we live now makes them feel depressed and we all want to go. Any suggestions? preferebly Hispanic part of the city of Nice. or a mixed part of town. They now live in the district of Aldine (I do not recommend to anyone that just wants to live in peace and enjoy life)

I think it's badly received everywhere and people came, but the upper west side of town is still very decent and not too expensive, except perhaps the woods, or River Oaks and all those places that you can only dream of.
