Moving to Atlanta GA. Need advice?

I moved to Atlanta, Georgia I've done some important research on what part of ATL want to live, I am a girl from the city of Los Angeles, Ca I have lived in Palm Springs, DC metropolitan area and northern Virginia. and lived in Las Vegas 3 times separately. But, I perfer to live outside the city. I need an outstanding school regardless of whether they are public or private. I do not want to live in a lovely area and then 5 more blocks is the bell … just my preference. Been there done that … I have researched Alpharetta, Conyers, Fulton County, Ellenwood, Clayton, Buckhead …. I do not mind commuting or traffic. I just want a nice area with nearby shops, parks, good schools and not a lot of crime. I have 2 teenage boys … I need them to be safe, and not around the bad influences …. any advice would be great. As for the homes they are looking for a 4 bedrooms 2-3 garages, luxury homes. Thanks to all

If you want the better neighborhoods and better schools to focus your search on the north side of Atlanta. Approximately I-75 to the northwest and Peachtree Industrial Blvd north to the this. The more more you get away from the trip. This does not necessarily translate into the cheapest of the housing. Some of the most expensive homes in the area is well north of the city. Buckhead is the most exclusive and most expensive of all residential areas. The best schools are in Cobb, North Fulton and Gwinnett counties. Later so are the best neighborhoods. Areas such as Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Marietta, Norcross, Duluth, Cumming, Alpharetta, Suwanee, Roswell. These are wonderful areas to large purchases the best schools, parks and plenty of housing options. My personal opinion is to avoid Clayton County. They have problems too so there and its school system recently lost accreditation due to a corrupt school board.
