How to write a review of efficient portfolio
To initiate a review, I start with the format required by Midwest Book Review. Then adjust format and number of words to what is required for each presentation site. A nice touch is the comment about the cover design, table of contents and structure or a glossary at the end of the book. (Example: This beautiful pocket design trade has a great design and practice, both inside and out. I recommend reading this book with a highlighter and a pen, ready to take copious notes on the blank pages thoughtfully provided between chapters.)
Details of the hearing and the note recommended why they should read the book. (Example: manners that Sell: Adding the Polish that Builds benefits should be required reading for high school and university students and for anyone already in the business environment. Once upon a time, good manners are taught at school and at home, but that time has since passed time. This book provides the perfect refresher course for those of us who learn manners, but I can not remember the finer points of etiquette.)
Write about the book's structure and design, the number of chapters and topics. (Example: While reading this book, I discovered that the author, Lydia Ramsey, covered every possible point of etiquette including many that I had never been taught. Each of the twelve chapters covers one main topic broken into pieces of size digestible morsel of standards and guidelines to enhance credibility and professionalism. Topics include first impressions, greetings and introduction, the art of conversation, Dress for business, telephone courtesy, electronic label, correspondence in business, etiquette in the office, business gifts, etiquette outside the office, dining for profit and doing business internationally.)
Give a brief biography, including your name, company name (if applicable), business or personal experience and where appropriate, include the titles of their books. (Example: The author of this delightful book, Lydia Ramsey is a business etiquette expert with over thirty years experience working with nonprofit organizations, corporations, colleges and universities. She is a published author who has often workshops, seminars and speeches on all aspects of business etiquette.)
Recommend the book and offer some ideas for practical use by individuals or groups. In his case, mentioning that it would make a good gift book and conclude the review with a positive summary of the work. (Example: I recommend this book, companies buy bulk and a present to all employees from frontline to senior management. In this ever changing world of so many consumer choices, the bottom line is often affected by the simple courtesies that can and should be given to customers. You will need this book if you want your employees to succeed and your business to thrive.) Insert your statement copyright and byline at the bottom of the review and, as always, have corrected the review by an editor before submission. Your comments book can be very effective marketing tools that will generate considerable exposure for you.
