Georgia Teacher Certification
How to become a history professor at Georgia?

I've been in several sites in the education of Georgia, and now I'm totally confused. I am 24 and have my degree in History from Elon University. Finally I would like to earn a doctorate and teach college-level history, but I understand that teaching in a high school or middle level while working towards a degree would be extremely beneficial. because I already have a bachelor's degree, I'm confused on what I do to be eligible to teach history in Georgia. What evidence or certification I need, and Atlanta, where can I get this? What are my next steps?

You will have to be certified. You may need to take classes in education. This website should be able to answer your questions. http://www.gapsc.com/home.asp
