Community College Online Classes
are the college classes online community better?
I take some of my classes online in my commuity college I attend. can someone to share their vision about college classes online. thanks
Each semester I teach online and face to face. When considering taking classes online, think about what kind of student you are. Online students need to be self-motivated, organized, and diligent. While you probably will not have to be online at the same time, they are classmates, there will still be deadlines. You (or anyone else reading this) may be tempted to do the required assignments and take as little as possible: no. Teachers expect that you are giving an online class the same effort as you would a traditional class. See, also, if your computer can handle the needs of Online Classes * and be sure that you have a reliable Internet service provider *. Not having your computer itself when taking an online class is like playing with fire – with time, it will burn. However, emergencies and accidents happen, so be sure you have a backup plan in case your computer or connection to drop. I can not say how many students have found themselves in a mess like this and the failure deadlines (and many more) as a result. Finally, make sure you're computer savvy with regard to simple tasks like cutting and pasting, attaching documents, the presentation of papers, so I recommend contacting the specific school teachers are the courses that interest you and ask your advice, too. This also is presented as a hard working student! Good luck!
